In the third quarter of 2022, the performance of the top navigation and maps apps in Brazil varied significantly in terms of downloads, revenue, and active users. Data from Sensor Tower provides an insightful look into these trends.

Waze Navigation & Live Traffic saw a steady increase in weekly downloads, peaking at around 219K in early August before stabilizing around 170K by the end of September. Weekly active users fluctuated throughout the quarter, starting at approximately 5.5M and remaining relatively stable, ending the quarter at a similar level.

Google Maps Go experienced consistent weekly downloads, averaging around 100K, with a slight dip to 88K in the final week of September. Active users showed a slight decline from 6.1M at the beginning of the quarter to around 5.9M by the end.
